First and foremost to dispel some rumors:

Angel Falls is a continuation of the Delta Force series, Not Joint Operations.  There is nothing on the horizon for a new Joint Operations title.

Delta Force Xtreme 2 is built on an 'enhanced' version of the Joint Operations graphics engine. 

Delta Force Angel Falls will be a completely new graphics engine.  It will require a GPU capable of at least level 3 shaders and a good chunk of memory.

Currently there is no BETA in progress for DFAF.  Closed beta is scheduled for Q2 2009.  Expected release is Q1 2010.  BETA will not start until Xtreme 2 is on the shelf and at least the first patch has been released.  No idea as yet how invitations will be chosen.
